In the framework of World Down Syndrome Day, celebrated on March 21, River Plate will wear special numbers on their jerseys in their match against Sarmiento. The numbers were designed by Catalan artist Anna Vives, internationally recognized for creating an inclusive typeface. This initiative is part of the 'Visible IN' campaign, led by the Spanish Itinerarium Foundation in collaboration with the River Foundation. The campaign aims to promote social equality and the visibility of people with disabilities through sports and various cultural actions. In the days leading up to the match, Anna Vives visited the Monumental stadium, where she was received by club president Stefano Di Carlo. The project began with the manual design of the letters, which was later digitized for use on computers and various media, with the goal of conveying a message of inclusion and highlighting that all people have an important place in society. During her visit, Vives had a special moment posing with the jersey number the team will use against Junín. River had already participated in this initiative in 2013 and is joining again in this edition, becoming the only Argentine club to be part of the international campaign. In addition to the 'millionaire' club, seven other clubs from around the world will use numbers designed by Vives in official matches during March: Barcelona (Spain), Porto (Portugal), Universidad Católica (Chile), Corinthians (Brazil), América (Mexico), Dinamo Kyiv (Ukraine), and Kaizer Chiefs (South Africa). The typeface was created by Vives in 2012 and became the world's first social typeface.
